Genoa returns to its summer home. Also this year, from 15th to 27th July, the red and blue team will be on pre-season training camp in Val di Fassa, confirming the special bond between the oldest club in Italy and the mountains of Trentino. The “Carlo Benatti” sports centre in Moena will host the training sessions, while the team will stay in Soraga.
With new coach Patrick Vieira at the helm, the Grifone is preparing for the Serie A season amidst breathtaking scenery and the warmth of the fans. Not only football: the retreat is an experience that involves the whole community, with open-door training sessions, friendly matches, events, family activities and meeting the players.
Fans will be able to follow the daily training sessions (from 9:30 to 12:00 and from 16:30 to 19:00), watch three friendly matches and participate in the initiatives of the Pulsee Genoa Village, open every day with music, games, official shop and areas dedicated to children.
Also scheduled are special evenings in the squares of Moena, Pozza and Canazei, with the participation of players, technical staff and managers. Space will also be given to the youngest with dedicated summer camps.
Making this ‘red-blue summer’ possible are, as always, the fundamental contribution of the local Monti Pallidi club and the precious organisation of the Val di Fassa Tourist Board, who work every year to make Genoa feel truly at home.
