Soraga in Val di Fassa, between mountain biking and cross-country skiing
Not far from Moena, overlooked by the Roda di Vael, lies Soraga, one of the oldest settlements of the Val di Fassa valley, a perfect place for mountain bike tours and cross-country skiing on the Marcialonga route.
Soraga is the typical mountain village, an artistic workshop rich of artisan shops, an oasis of peace and relaxation a few steps away from the ski areas and from the hiking trails of the Catinaccio. The resort offers easy walks on the valley floor towards the artificial lake of Pezzè and along the romantic park of the Avisio River. This is the land of the mountain bikes: here in fact you can explore trails, dirt tracks and the cycle path connecting Moena to Canazei. Moreover, kids can have fun in a well equipped playground.
In winter Soraga becomes a cross-country skiing center thanks to the Marcialonga route and a perfect starting point to reach the near ski areas with the ski bus.
