Are you a sports fan? The Hotel Sonnalp is right up your alley, it is the ideal starting point for hiking at high altitude or bike tours in the Sciliar-Catinaccio Natural Park to discover the Latemar Peak, but not only. The tourist area of Obereggen and Val d’Ega offers the best for everyone. If you want to enjoy breathtaking views, the new LATEMAR.360 ° viewing platform offers an incomparable scenario. Designed for families, the LATEMAR.NATURA nature trail leads to a journey through the alpine habitats at different altitudes with a wide variety of flora and fauna. In the summer you will also have the opportunity to learn about the world of herbs in the Catinaccio area with the expert in botany Dr. Sigrid Thaler.
Even in winter you have different proposals between 50 km of slopes, cross-country skiing tracks, the 2.5 km long toboggan run and several snowshoeing trails. The hotel boasts an enviable position, it is, in fact, directly on the ski slopes.
Hotel Sonnalp
The Gourmet Hotel Sonnalp is situated in Obereggen, at the feet of the Catinaccio and Latemar, and it is ideal for indulging in pure relaxation and the gastronomic pleasures of refined gourmet cuisine.
In summer this area is perfect for hiking, Nordic walking and mountain biking, or for practicing golf in the wonderful courses of Carezza and Monte San Pietro. In winter, the Ski Center Latemar welcomes all winter sport lovers.
