Rifugio Flora Alpina

The Flora Alpina mountain hut is situated in Valfredda, close to Falcade and to the San Pellegrino Pass.

This is an ideal destination for those who love active holidays in the nature, since the area offers a lot of trekking tours to the mountain farms. In winter, the famous Tre Valli ski area offers a world of possibilities to all winter sports enthusiasts.

The hut boasts a quiet and sunny position at the feet of Marmolada and Pale di San Martino. It features cozy rooms provided with shower, WC, TV and Wi-Fi internet access. In addition to the refined Maddy's Chalet and the charming Harald Hütte suite, the refuge welcomes eight new rooms from the ‘Vette delle Dolomiti’ collection, each dedicated to one of the majestic peaks that surround it. The Mulaz Suite, which is also accessible to people with special needs, the Focobon, Costabella and Marmolada Junior Suites, and the Cirelle, Vernel, Forca Rossa, Obrettola and Formenton Superior Rooms offer welcoming environments with attention to detail.

Moments of relaxation await guests in the Green Wellness Spa with whirlpool with water heated to 32°, bio sauna, Kneipp path, relaxation area on larch bark and emotional shower for an all-round wellness experience. For those who want to train at high altitude, the hut offers the bio gym, large and bright and equipped with two large panoramic windows that directly overlook the majestic Pale di San Martino, offering a unique training experience, suspended between sky and mountains.

At Rifugio Flora Alpina, the cuisine is an authentic journey through the flavours of the Dolomites, where tradition, territory and passion come together. Under the expert guidance of the chef, each dish comes to life thanks to the use of local ingredients and artisanal techniques that enhance the authenticity of the products. Bread and desserts are prepared daily in the refuge, offering irresistible aromas and authentic flavours. Handmade casunziei and fresh pasta tell the culinary story of the Dolomite valleys, while preserves and jams made from seasonal fruit preserve the taste of summer throughout the year. This cuisine speaks of the local area and invites you to rediscover the pleasure of things made with care and love.

After admiring the breathtaking landscape, guests can relax in the common spaces: bar, dining hall and typical Tyrolean dining room with fireplace. Animals are welcome.
