Our farm "Praitlad" is located in Niederlana, below the Brandiser Waalweg. Surrounded by greenery, our guests live in an idyllic yet central location, because from the apartments you can quickly reach the interesting town center of Lana. The three high-quality and modern apartments were rebuilt in 2016. The "Holzhausbau" offers healthy, natural and comfortable living and is heat-insulating and energy-saving at the same time. They offer a very own living atmosphere. All apartments are south-facing, offer a view of the surrounding orchards and are bright and comfortably furnished. The sun terrace with a small garden or the south-facing balcony invite you to linger. The hosts operate an integrated orchard. Fresh apples are freely available to guests, as well as herbs, lettuce and vegetables from the farm garden, as long as stocks last. From the plum, quince and pear trees in the garden farmers wife Barbara conjures up again and again new fruit spreads and juices, which can be bought at the farm. Living in the "Praitladhof" in Lana means relaxing and enjoying nature in a sheltered spot. With us it means "feel good". For the little ones there is plenty of space to romp, a great play house with sandpit, rabbits, guinea pigs and cats to pet. On the sun terrace or in the newly built recreation room, guests can enjoy a rich breakfast (surcharge). Throughout the year, Lana offers a wide range of leisure activities between sports, enjoyment and culture. From the "Praitladhof" start some comfortable walks and bike rides for the whole family. In winter, the area offers family ski resorts, winter hiking trails, ice skating rinks, cross-country ski trails and spa facilities. Culture enthusiasts will find over 40 monasteries, churches, chapels and castles here. Particularly worth seeing: the St. Margarethenkirche, in which architectural and artistic traces of the year 1000 AD can be found, and the Schnatterpeck altar of the parish church of Niederlana. At 14 meters high and seven meters wide, it is the largest winged altar in the entire Alpine region and well known far beyond the country's borders.
