Alpe di Siusi: sport and nature at the top of the Dolomites
Alpe di Siusi is the broadest plateau in Europe, a real gem set in the Dolomites. It lies in the province of Bolzano and boasts green pastures surrounded by a unique background: the magnificence of Sassolungo and the magical, almost unreal charm of the Sciliar.
In summer, Alpe di Siusi is a paradise for paragliders and hikers, with 300 km paths you can explore on foot, by mountain bike or riding a horse. In winter, its white and sunny slopes are a delight for skiers, who can't wait to test the wonderful Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi ski area.
The plateau is appreciated not only for its unique landscape, but also for its unpolluted nature: in fact, Alpe di Siusi is a protected spot, building a unique natural area together with the Sciliar-Catinaccio Natural Park and preserving a wide range of animals and plants that can be discovered walking along its path
