Ski area Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna in the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta

The Ski Area of Folgaria and Lavarone, on the plateaus of the Trentino region, is part of the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta, a group of eight ski areas located around the wonderful Brenta Dolomites.

The two ski resorts of Folgaria and Lavarone become the Ski Tour dei Forti, a network of ski runs winding among the forts of the First World War, thus creating a striking tour into history. This ski area is one of the most renowned of Trentino thanks to the quality of the facilities and of the environment, but also thanks to the beauty of the landscape, that includes the Brenta Dolomites, the Pasubio Group and the Adamello Group. Always perfectly groomed ski runs of every level, state of the art lift facilities and a modern snowmaking system are features that will delight every skier, from beginners to experts, and this ski area has them all. Among the most exciting ski runs we shall mention Salizzona, Agonistica and Avez del Prinzep, named after the tallest fir in Europe. Every year important Alpine and Nordic skiing competitions take place in this ski area, like Trofeo del Barba and the Malga Zonta Marathon.

There are three cross-country skiing centers: Passo Coe, Millegrobbe and Forte Cherle. The first two are included in the SuperNordicSkipass, and Millegrobbe hosts a classic Nordic skiing competition that goes under the same name. If you prefer snowboarding to skiing, you have at your disposal the Mazinga Park in Folgaria, the Snowpark Rivetta in Lavarone and the Jurassik Snowpark on the nearby Alpe Fiorentini. Of course there are also facilities especially designed for kids, like school camps, ski kindergartens, playgrounds and exciting toboggan runs.

More than skiing

If you are looking for something different from the classic winter sports, this ski area offers a lot of activities: walks, snow tubing, snowshoeing and ice skating at the PalaFolgaria ice stadium.
