Hotel Alcialc

The Alcialc Hotel in La Val, which was completely renovated in 2018 and is family run, is the perfect place for a holiday immersed in the tranquility of nature. The flagship of this elegant 3-star superior establishment are the Sky Suites with private terrace overlooking the Dolomites and whirlpool.

Land of hikers, La Valle is the first village in South Tyrol to be certified as a "European hiking village". Above the village are the meadows of Armentara and Rit, known for the wide range of flowers that characterize them especially in spring. Hikers can rent free trekking equipment on site and take part in one of the guided tours organized by the Tourist Association in town.

In addition to excursions, you can choose between different activities in the summer, such as mountain biking or motorbike tours, rafting, iron ways, climbing, or golf at the Alta Badia Golf Club.

In winter, the property is about 6 km from the nearest lifts of Alta Badia, easily reached by the 4 free ski shuttles for Alta Badia and the Sellaronda. Those who want to try on some snowshoes can use them for free in the building and take part in one of the free and guided snowshoeing outings organized by the Tourist Association of the town. For cross-country skiers, La Valle offers a 7 km long path, while for ice skating, the Sompunt di Badia frozen lake is an ideal place. Finally, there are numerous tracks for ski mountaineering.

The comfortable rooms and suites furnished in alpine style with design furniture in natural materials have a bathroom with shower, TV, Wi-Fi, safe, hairdryer, telephone, and some have a balcony.

Guests with half-board can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the morning and an excellent dinner comprised of Ladin and Italian specialties accompanied by fine regional and national wines. At the end of the evening a selection of typical South Tyrolean liqueurs is offered. By request it is possible to purchase full board and have lunch at the Alcialc. A typical Ladin dinner is scheduled once a week.

The hotel has a modern 170 sqm wellness center located on the top floor and equipped with a Turkish bath, a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, an infrared cabin, a whirlpool, and a relaxation and vital area.
Treatments and massages in the beauty farm are also available. From the wellness oasis, open every day from 3pm to 7pm, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Alta Badia. In summer, the large sunny garden with sun loungers invites you to relax after a busy day outdoors.
