14 November 2022

Trentino-Alto Adige is confirmed as one of the best eating regions in Italy. This is what has emerged from the 68th edition of the new Michelin Guide for 2023. Many confirmations and three good new entries: a new star shines in South Tyrol and two new ones in Trentino.

South Tyrol takes home a total of 18 stars, including three new entries, one in Corvara, one in Val Gardena and one in Lagundo.

1 restaurant in the Dolomites has been awarded green stars for its focus on environmental sustainability. It is located in Cavalese (TN).

The 2023 starred restaurants in South Tyrol can be found in various locations including Merano, San Cassiano, Campo di Trens, Tirolo, Sarentino, Bressanone, Bolzano, Collepietra, Selva Val Gardena, Nova Levante, Dobbiaco, Ortisei, Castelbello, Corvara, Appiano, Falzes, Tesimo and Chiusa.

Less rich is the haul from Trentino, which stops at eight stars, all with one star. Stars shine in Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa, Trento, Madonna di Campiglio, Arco and Rovereto.

In the Belluno area, four restaurants each get one star and are located in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Puos d'Alpago and Pieve d'Alpago.
