In Val di Fiemme there are 150 km of tracks for cross-country skiers, divided between the cross-country centre of Lavazè and Lago di Tesero and the Bellamonte rings, situated in the valley floor near the Marcialonga slope.
Lavazè cross-country centre is, since always, the reference of all those who love cross-country ski. Easily reachable from the main centres of the area and few kilometres far from the motorway exits, it is equipped with several facilities, among which you can find also a good ski wax room, a guest room with toilets and showers, a wide room for prize-giving and a big car park. The recent link to Occlini, a little higher place, has furtherly increased the number of possible itineraries guaranteeing the possibility of skiing until spring.
From Lavazè, it is possible to reach Aldino cross-country centre and the famous Pietralba Sanctuary.
Tesero Lago cross-country centre offers 18-km long tracks perfectly covered with snow, thanks to programmed snow, both for athletes and tourists. Moreover, it is connected with the Marcialonga track. The centre also offers an ice skating rink, equipment rental, changing rooms with showers and toilets, ski-waxing rooms and a nice restaurant. Thanks to its lighting system you will get the chance to ski at night as well.
In Predazzo stands the great ski jumping stadium, which starting from the World Cup competitions of 1990, has hosted several international and national events such as the Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined World Championships in 1991, 2003 and 2013. The facilities usage is permitted only during competitions and trainings.
Very appreciated the trails near Bellamonte and along the rings of Predazzo, Ziano, Masi di Cavalese and Molina, connected with the Marcialonga slope.
