Just a few kilometres from Lake Karer, the hotel is the perfect starting point for hiking or biking tours in the realm of King Laurin, horseback riding, climbing, via ferrata and golfing at the Carezza Golf Club or the Monte San Pietro Golf Club. As part of the South Tyrol Bikehotel circuit, the hotel offers cycling enthusiasts a bike depot, a washing, drying and repair area and 5 guided tours per week.

In winter, you can reach the ski slopes of the Carezza ski area with the free ski bus. The area also invites snowshoeing, tobogganing, carriage rides, cross-country skiing and ski touring.

The Berghaus Rosengarten Hotel places environmental sustainability at the centre of its philosophy. The hotel has been awarded the South Tyrol Sustainability Mark Level 1, promoted by IDM Südtirol - Alto Adige, and adheres to the Climate Neutrality Pact 2025. The chef in the kitchen uses only local and seasonal products, carefully selected from local farmers, thus offering fresh and tasty dishes every day. The garden is irrigated exclusively with rainwater, while the water flowing from the taps is pure Grander spring water. Furthermore, the hotel uses only environmentally friendly and certified detergents to reduce its environmental impact, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

In each of the 13 wood-furnished rooms, you can breathe in an atmosphere of peace surrounded by the silence of the forest, the chirping of the birds and the enchanting view from the balcony over the Latemar or Catinaccio. To limit all sources of disturbance and experience total immersion in nature, there is no Wi-Fi or TV in the rooms. Wi-Fi is available on the ground floor.

At the Berghaus Rosengarten Hotel, cooking is an essential element that enriches the experience of your stay. Every dish is prepared in-house with care, using fresh, local ingredients sourced almost exclusively from Val d'Ega and South Tyrol. In summer, fruit and vegetables come directly from our own vegetable garden, the surrounding fields and the fruit trees in the garden. Fresh mountain water flows from the tap, while selected wines come from South Tyrolean wineries, perfectly matched to the menu of the day. Breakfast surprises every morning with a rich and varied buffet: homemade muesli, fresh juices, local cold cuts and cheeses, honey from our own bees and freshly baked cakes. Every detail is thought out to offer a holiday that is savoured at the table, with taste and authenticity.

For those who want to relax, the house offers a wellness area with saunas, a panoramic relaxation room and herbal tea corner, a forest terrace next to the house, a lawn with sun loungers and a panoramic terrace for a breakfast or aperitif with a view.
