In honour of one of the most renowned and delicious cheeses in Italy, the Puzzone Festival of Moena DOP returns to Moena from 18 to 20 September, involving not only Moena, the homeland of the famous Trentino cheese, but also the villages of Soraga and Predazzo.
A weekend dedicated entirely to the pleasure of the senses for true cheese lovers or simple gourmets of all ages, between the picturesque valleys of Fassa and Fiemme. The program is vast and will give an unforgettable culinary experience including tastings, food tours, show cooking, aperitifs, luxury dinners, workshops for children and parades of cattle returning from the pastures.
But the highlight of the event is the “Desmontegade”, scheduled for Saturday, September 19 in Soraga and Sunday, September 20 in Moena, when cows, sheep, and goats, decorated with flowers, return from the alpine pastures accompanied by shepherds and farmers, parading through the town streets to the rhythm of music bands, folk groups, and local associations.
