Family Green Way Primiero Loop

The Family Green Way Primiero Loop is a cycling route of about 20 km, ideal for families and for anyone wishing to explore the area in a slow and sustainable way. The itinerary offers spectacular views of the Pale di San Martino and the Vette Feltrine, while crossing villages rich in history, art and local traditions. Along the way you’ll encounter ancient buildings such as Palazzo Scopoli, the Palazzo del Dazio and the Archpriestal Church, as well as artistic installations, wooden sculptures, frescoes and the famous Cataste & Canzéi.

From the heart of Fiera di Primiero towards Navoi

The route starts from the parking area near the APT office in Fiera di Primiero. You follow the road running alongside the Cismon stream and, after crossing the main road, tackle a short 150‑metre climb to the hamlet of Navoi. The itinerary continues through meadows and small inhabited areas until reaching Via S. Antonio. After passing a public fountain, another climb leads to Via Bellavista, from where you reach the church of Transacqua.

Transacqua, Tonadico and Siror: villages worth discovering

From the church, a small pedestrian path descends across a meadow and over a charming covered wooden bridge. After a brief “chicane” through the narrow alleys of the historic centre, you reach Via Sanguarna and then Via Venezia. Once you cross the bridge over the Canali stream, the route follows the watercourse upstream to the pedestrian and cycle bridge leading to Tonadico. From here, the route continues towards Siror, crossing the “Campagna Alta” and the sports area. Pay attention to the final stretch of the footpath, which features a 20% gradient and a concrete bollard at the exit.

Towards Mezzano and Imèr: between art, traditions and rural landscapes

Back in Fiera di Primiero, you cross the historic centre and turn into Via Rivetta Enrico Koch, heading towards the Archpriestal Church. The route then continues to Mezzano, one of the most charming villages in the Primiero valley: vegetable gardens, fountains, frescoes, traditional architecture and the famous artistic woodpiles make it a must‑see. The itinerary then leads to Imèr, along a short stretch of main road and a climb up to the cemetery. After passing through the historic centre, you continue along Via Meatoli to the locality of Ghiaie, where a secondary road and a cycle underpass lead towards Calavise – Villaggio Sass Maor.

Return along the Cismon

After crossing the bridge over the Cismon stream, you rejoin the cycle path that follows the river through riparian vegetation, conifer woods and open meadows. After about 2.5 km you reach Via Navoi again: crossing the pedestrian bridge brings you back to the starting point near the APT.
