Val di Fiemme/Obereggen Ski Area
Skiing in the Val di Fiemme - Obereggen Ski Area
The Val di Fiemme/Obereggen area brings together five skiing and hiking areas, located between 860 and 2,388 metres above sea level. Thanks to the single ski pass and the skibus service, it is easy to move from one zone to another and discover different slopes and views every day. From the descents of the Latemar to the slopes of the Alpe Cermis, passing through Bellamonte–Alpe Lusia, Passo Rolle and Oclini, each area has its own features and offers many opportunities to experience the mountains in winter, at your own pace.
The five ski areas of Val di Fiemme/Obereggen
1. Latemar Dolomites: Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo
With about 50 km of slopes, Latemar Dolomites is the heart of the Fiemme/Obereggen ski area. The ski area brings together three locations - Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo - connected by lifts, offering a wide choice of runs and views of the Dolomites.
Obereggen is particularly appreciated for its dynamic slopes, the snowpark, night skiing and family-oriented activities. Pampeago is a strategic access point to the Latemar slopes and allows you to combine skiing with discovering RespirArt, the high-altitude art park. From Predazzo, the chairlift leads to Gardonè and makes it possible to reach the Passo Feudo ski area.
Opening dates 2026/2027
- Obereggen: 27 November 2026.
- Pampeago: 28 November 2026.
- Predazzo: 4 December 2026.
Expected closing date: 4 April 2027.
2. Alpe Cermis: the famous Olimpia run
Above Cavalese, Alpe Cermis is one of the best-known destinations in the Val di Fiemme for its scenic slopes and the famous Olimpia, a long descent that takes skiers from the mountain down to the valley floor. The different routes allow you to choose the difficulty level best suited to your experience, alternating skiing with a break at the panoramic mountain huts.
Opening dates 2026/2027: from 28 November 2026 to 11 April 2027.
3. Bellamonte–Alpe Lusia: scenic slopes and fun for families
Between Bellamonte and Moena, the Bellamonte–Alpe Lusia ski area offers slopes surrounded by woods and splendid views of the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai. The runs, of various difficulty levels, suit both expert skiers and beginners, thanks also to the areas dedicated to beginners and families.
Besides skiing, there are plenty of opportunities to have fun in the snow, such as a sledge run or a break at a mountain hut to enjoy traditional mountain cuisine.
Opening dates 2026/2027: from 4 December 2026 to 4 April 2027.
4. Passo Rolle: skiing at the foot of the Pale di San Martino
At the foot of the imposing Pale di San Martino, Passo Rolle offers a skiing experience in one of the most spectacular settings in the Dolomites. The slopes wind through wide open spaces and breathtaking views. Among the runs to try, the black Paradiso stands out for its demanding gradients, while the red Fiamme Gialle offers an alternative for those looking for a technical descent with spectacular views of the mountains.
5. Oclini and Passo Lavazè: alpine skiing, cross-country and nature
Passo Oclini and Passo Lavazè offer a different way of experiencing the mountains in winter, with snowy plateaus, woods and wide panoramas. Oclini is ideal for those who prefer to ski in a quiet, intimate setting, while Lavazè is a destination especially appreciated by cross-country skiing enthusiasts, thanks to the many trails that cross the plateau.
Beyond sport, these locations invite you to slow down with snow walks and stops at mountain huts, to enjoy the mountains even away from the downhill slopes.
Opening dates 2026/2027
- Oclini: from 6 December 2026 to 4 April 2027.
- Passo Lavazè: from 26 December 2026 to 4 April 2027
All opening and closing dates of the 5 ski areas may vary depending on weather and snow conditions.
What's new for winter 2026/2027
The 2026/2027 winter season brings new investments to some ski areas of Val di Fiemme/Obereggen, with works on lifts, slopes and services to improve comfort and accessibility.
Latemar Dolomites: new 8-seat chairlift
At Obereggen, the historic four-seat chairlift is making way for a new 8-seat chairlift, 500 metres long, with a vertical drop of 93 metres and a capacity of 2,800 people per hour. The journey time is less than two minutes.
The new Eben skilift also debuts, together with the renovation of the Kidspark Brunoland, dedicated to children and families. These works join the 10-seat gondola of Pampeago, inaugurated last season, and the expansion of the snowmaking system.
Alpe Cermis: new variant on the Olimpia 3
On Alpe Cermis, a new variant of the Olimpia 3 makes it possible to avoid the steepest section of the black run, offering a descent with a gentler gradient. Among the recent novelties is also the Rifugio Paion, renovated to make a stop at altitude even more pleasant, with views of the Dolomites and the Lagorai.
Bellamonte–Alpe Lusia: services and activities for families
In Bellamonte, parking and services at the lift base area have been renovated to make access to the ski area easier. The Fraina sledge run has also been redesigned with new bends, so as to make the most demanding section more gradual.
