Corno del Renon: 360° panoramic view

The most beautiful and widest view beyond the borders of all South Tyrol… this is how the Corno del Renon presents itself. Located at the northern edge of the Renon plateau, the Corno is a mountain of the Sarntal Alps rising a little over 2,200 metres. From its summit, visitors can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Alpine peaks of Italy and nearby Tyrol. Thanks to a panoramic terrace and a geographic map, you can comfortably sit and observe the many peaks, valleys, and mountains stretching out before your eyes.

A window onto the Alps

The view is completely unobstructed, allowing the gaze to wander endlessly while the spirit loses itself in the immensity of the surrounding landscape. The Corno del Renon offers visitors millions of years of geological history. The mountains surrounding Renon are the famous Dolomites, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, extending from the southeast to the south, with peaks such as Sass de Putia, the Odle Group, the Sciliar, the Catinaccio, the Latemar massif, and the Corno Nero and Corno Bianco. To the north rise the majestic Sarntal Alps, behind which the Stubai Alps can be admired. After a summer storm, when the sky clears, the view stretches as far as the Ortles massif and, to the east, the famous Großglockner.

What to do on the Corno del Renon
