Route Description
The ideal starting point is the large car park in Obereggen. Follow trail no. 9 uphill to the Bewallerhof farm, then continue on trail no. 8 until you reach trail no. 10 on the left. Ride through the centre of San Nicolò d’Ega, head towards the Kobhof farm, and follow the forest road to the Löwen restaurant.
From here, continue towards Nova Levante (1,192 m) and take the new cable car up to the Frommer Alm (1,743 m). Once at the top, follow trail no. 1A or take the alternative paved road leading to the Carezza Pass, both offering beautiful panoramic views.
The MTB route then descends along trail no. 519 towards the Val di Fassa, reaching Moena. Continue along the cycle path beside the Avisio stream until you arrive at the bottom station of the Predazzo–Gardonè cable car. Ride the lift up to 1,650 m, then take the chairlift to Passo Feudo (2,000 m).
From here, the most technical section begins: descend along trail no. 504, a demanding trail leading to the Ganischg and Zischg huts. From Reiterjoch, follow the paved road past the Epicher Laner hut and return to Obereggen.
