Alpine Path of the Dolomites no. 4

The Alpine Path of the Dolomites no. 4, called "of Grohmann", is dedicated to the Austrian alpinist Paul Grohmann who first climbed some of the most important peaks of the Dolomites in the mid-800s, such as Tre Scarperi, Croda dei Baranci, Cima Grande di Lavaredo, Cristallo, the Sorapiss and the Antelao, and connects the Three Peaks area with the Belluno area. Starting point is San Candido and arrival Pieve di Cadore.

This crossing, developed along a distance of about 85 km, which can be reached in 6 stages, enters the high mountains of the Dolomites through paths and mule tracks that are not particularly tiring and in good condition, made evident by the signs; only the itinerary that provides for the ascent to the Vandelli-Bivacco Còmici hut requires a certain mountaineering experience.
