On 23 and 24 January 2027, Val di Fiemme hosts the 43rd edition of the Skiri Trophy XCountry, the famous youth cross-country skiing “mini world championship”, which every year brings together young cross-country skiers and emerging talents.
The competition is open to athletes registered with FISI and FIS and is held in classic technique for all planned categories: U10, U12, U14 and U16. To take part, athletes must hold a FISI card and a valid medical certificate: competitive for athletes aged 12 and over, non-competitive for younger ones.
What makes the event even more special is Skiri, the friendly squirrel-on-skis mascot, symbol of the Nordic spirit of Val di Fiemme. Together with Nordic Ski Fiemme, Skiri accompanies young athletes at an event that celebrates sport, the passion for cross-country skiing and the tradition of the valley, which has always hosted major international events.
