The Festival dello Sport di Trento 2026 returns for its ninth edition and moves its schedule forward: the event will take place from 1 to 4 October 2026, one week earlier compared to previous editions. This change is linked to the new international sports calendars, in order to ensure an even broader participation of athletes and leading figures from the global sports world.
Organised by La Gazzetta dello Sport and Trentino Marketing, with the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the City of Trento, the University of Trento, and APT Trento, and under the patronage of CONI and the Italian Paralympic Committee, the festival confirms its status as one of the most important sporting events in Italy and Europe.
Trento, capital of sport for four days
In the heart of Trentino, the city of Trento becomes for four days a true open-air stage for sport. Streets, squares, historic palaces, theatres, museums and courtyards are transformed into places of encounter, storytelling and emotion.
