What is BITM?

The International Mountain Tourism Exchange (BITM) has been promoting dialogue between institutions, tourism professionals and businesses for more than 25 years, focusing on the key challenges and opportunities facing mountain tourism.

Previous editions have explored topics such as sustainability, hospitality, destination management, alpine resilience and tourism development. In recent years, the event has evolved into "The Mountain Tourism Days", expanding its involvement with local communities, destinations and national and international tourism stakeholders.

BITM has also been hosted in some of Trentino's most prestigious cultural venues, including MUSE, Buonconsiglio Castle, Palazzo Roccabruna, Palazzo Geremia, the Trento Chamber of Commerce, and the Bell of the Fallen in Rovereto.
