Walk along the Rienza River in Brunico

This pleasant walk along the Rienza River connects San Lorenzo di Sebato to Brunico, offering a relaxing and scenic route. The starting point is the large parking area in the village center, from where you follow trail no. 2 leading to the Rienza promenade

The flat and well-maintained path runs alongside the river, with beautiful views of the Rieserferner Group, whose snow-capped peaks frame the landscape.

After about 40 minutes of walking, you reach Brunico, a charming medieval town where you can visit the castle, stroll through the historic center, or enjoy a break in one of the local cafés. 

The walk can also be done in reverse, starting from Brunico and heading to San Lorenzo.

For those using public transport, from the Brunico Mobility Center, you can reach San Lorenzo with the Citybus 420.2, stop Station.
