The hike begins at the parish church in the center of Barbiano. Turn right toward the local bank (Cassa Rurale), then left through the hamlet of Oberdorf until you reach the scenic Wasserfallweg trail. Passing through Lukas, you reach a junction and follow trail 6A to the sawmill.
Continue right on a narrow paved road to the Wieserhof farm, then descend along trail no. 3 until you see signs pointing back to Barbiano. Turn right again onto trail no. 11, which leads back to the village center.
