A pleasant and panoramic hike that connects some of the most charming spots of the Terme di Comano area, moving through cultivated fields, quiet woods and natural viewpoints overlooking Lake Garda. A simple yet rewarding itinerary, perfect for anyone looking to spend half a day immersed in nature.
The route starts at Malga Lomasone (537 m), easily reached by car from Vigo Lomaso as you cross the wide agricultural landscapes of Val Lomasone. Once you leave the car, a comfortable dirt road leads through meadows and fields, following the SAT red‑and‑white trail markers. The path reaches a clearing with a few small seasonal huts, where the landscape opens up and invites you to continue.
From here, the marked trail climbs steadily to the San Pietro Pass (960 m), a panoramic viewpoint that introduces the most scenic section of the hike. In just a few minutes you reach the Rifugio San Pietro, famous for its natural terrace offering spectacular views over Lake Garda.
Those wishing to extend the itinerary can continue from the pass along the same trail to Monte Misone, one of the most iconic peaks in the area.
