Departure from the centre of San Vigilio or from the hamlet of Ciamaor. Follow path no. 19 along a dirt road to Somamunt. From here, the trail descends to the Üties de Fojedöra huts, where it is possible to stop for refreshments in summer. From the hut, the route continues to Lake Braies (6 hours). Alternatively, you can start at the Furcia Pass and follow trail no. 3 to Lake Fojedöra. (4.5 hours).
The return to San Vigilio can be done by bus.
