The Christmas Market in Val Sarentino is known as Alpine Advent, and is really charming. In this valley about 30 minutes away from Bolzano, every Saturday and Sunday from November to December, you will find over 20 stands where peasants and local craftsmen sell their products: handmade jackets, felt slippers, wooden utensils, Swiss stone pine essences, original bouquets, home goods, honey and other beekeeping products.
Spending the Alpine Advent in Val Sarentino means rediscovering the value of quietness, silence and forgotten traditions. Taste the delicious apple pancakes, admire wood manufacturing and the live nativity scene, listen to the Christmas carols. Art workshops for children.
