Brunico – Castel Lamberto – Riscone

The walk from Brunico to Castel Lamberto and on to Riscone is a pleasant and easy route, perfect for those seeking a relaxing stroll between nature and culture. The starting point is at the tennis pavilion in Brunico. From here, the path follows the Lungorienza promenade towards the former ice rink, then turns right onto trail no. 14, which leads to the charming Castel Lamberto, perched on a panoramic hill. Continuing right again, the route enters the Pfaffental Valley and reaches the village of Riscone, where it ends at the Cassa Rurale.

The return can be made along the same route following trail no. 1, or alternatively by taking the Citybus 420.1. To reach the starting point from the Brunico railway station, you can take the Citybus 420.3 and get off at the Ponte Tennis stop.

This short and accessible excursion offers scenic views along the Rienza River, the chance to admire Castel Lamberto, and wide panoramas over Brunico and Riscone, making it ideal for a day of nature and cultural discovery.
