LATEMAR.BIKE is a circular MTB tour that completes a full loop around the Latemar massif in a clockwise direction, following one of the most scenic and appreciated routes in the Dolomites. The trail stretches between Trentino and South Tyrol and combines forest roads, single trails, and smooth‑flowing sections, offering a variety of terrain suitable for riders of different skill levels. A significant part of the route crosses the Latemarium, the outdoor thematic area extending between Pampeago, Obereggen, and Predazzo, which includes approximately 6–7 km of MTB‑dedicated sections.
The tour is considered easy or medium difficulty only when using the lift facilities: the Predazzo–Gardoné cable car and the Gardoné–Passo Feudo chairlift allow riders to overcome most of the initial elevation gain while transporting their bikes. From Pampeago, the Agnello chairlift also provides access to higher altitudes, making the route suitable for a wider audience. Without the lifts, however, the loop becomes a more demanding MTB itinerary, with elevation gains exceeding 1,000 metres and technical stretches requiring solid physical preparation.
From a landscape perspective, LATEMAR.BIKE is one of the most spectacular MTB tours in the region: along the route, riders enjoy continuous views of the Latemar rock faces, the peaks of the Catinaccio, and the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa. The variety of scenery, combined with the possibility of adjusting the difficulty thanks to the lifts, makes this itinerary ideal both for experienced bikers and for those seeking an immersive MTB experience without tackling overly challenging climbs.
