Legends Trail

Duration: 2–3 days – challenging trekking tour

A grand loop trail connecting some of the most iconic places in the Dolomites, following ancient stories and legends of the Catinaccio and Latemar. From Bolzano, a cable car takes you to Colle, where the route continues through shady forests, historic farms, and panoramic huts toward Nova Ponente and the sanctuary of Madonna di Pietralba. The trail then heads to Passo Lavazé and Obereggen, reaches the emerald reflections of Lake Carezza, and climbs toward the Paolina Hut and the Fronza alle Coronelle Hut at the foot of the Catinaccio walls. A chairlift descent leads back to Nova Levante, from where the route returns to Collepietra and finally to Bolzano.
