RespirArt is one of the world's highest contemporary art parks and is located in Pampeago, in Val di Fiemme, in the heart of the Trentino Dolomites. The route unfolds between 2,000 and 2,200 metres above sea level, at the foot of the spectacular peaks of the Latemar, recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Created as a project by journalist and art curator Beatrice Calamari and artist Marco Nones, the park offers an experience where contemporary art and the Dolomite landscape come together. The installations, created by Italian and international artists, are immersed in nature and accompany visitors along a circular route of approximately 3 kilometres.
The result is a unique open-air museum: here, the artworks are not enclosed within gallery walls but interact with high-altitude meadows, forests and mountains, creating a route to be experienced slowly, step by step.
Some of the installations can also be seen in winter from the Agnello ski slope, in the Ski Center Latemar, offering a different perspective on the park and its artworks.
Every year, RespirArt Pampeago is enriched with new art installations and offers a calendar of cultural events including concerts, performances, literary meetings and events in nature, also held at the evocative Latemar Open-Air Theatre.
Summer 2026 events at RespirArt and in Pampeago
Summer 2026 brings a rich calendar of events to Pampeago dedicated to culture, music, nature and the mountains. Here are the events scheduled.
25 July 2026 – New 2026: Forest Bathing
When: 25 July 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
An immersive experience in nature through the practice of forest bathing, an ancient Japanese tradition that encourages participants to slow down, walk mindfully and reconnect with the natural environment through the five senses.

2 August 2026 – Voci nel Mattino
When: 2 August 2026, from 5:30 am
Where: Pampeago, Buse de Tresca
The 12th edition of "Voci nel Mattino" returns with a fascinating celebration of mountain choral music. The Genzianella Choir of Tesero and the Choir of Moena will accompany the dawn with their voices against the backdrop of the Dolomites.
Programme:
- 4:15 am: ticket office opens and chairlift ascent
- 4:30 am: walk to the event location, approximately 15 minutes
- 5:00 am: arrival and vocal warm-up by the choirs
- 5:30 am: concert begins

2 August 2026 – Festa delle Malghe
When: 2 August 2026, all day
Where: Pampeago-Obereggen
A day dedicated to mountain traditions and alpine life with the Festa delle Malghe, an opportunity to discover the local area and experience the atmosphere of the traditional mountain pastures.
The Latemar Cable Car operates continuously from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. On this occasion, a single €5 ascent ticket is available, valid for both the Latemar Cable Car and the Agnello Chairlift.

6 August 2026 – Cartoon!
When: Thursday, 6 August 2026, at 11:30 am
Where: Latemar Open-Air Theatre, Caserina, Pampeago
An event dedicated to the soundtracks that have accompanied generations of viewers. The instrumental and vocal ensemble conducted by Maestro Ivan Marini presents a programme featuring the theme songs from the most famous cartoons, from the 1980s to the present day.

13 August 2026 – World Champion of the Accordion: Gianluca Campi

Music takes centre stage once again in the mountains of Pampeago with Gianluca Campi, world accordion champion, who brings his extraordinary technique and virtuosity to the Latemar Open-Air Theatre.

20 August 2026 – Quintetto Ottoni Tesero

A musical event featuring the powerful and engaging sound of the brass instruments of the "E. Deflorian" Band of Tesero. A concert surrounded by the spectacular natural scenery of the Latemar Dolomites.

23 August 2026 – Feast of Saint Bartholomew

A great traditional festival dedicated to Saint Bartholomew, featuring Mass, an alpine lunch, music and dancing under the marquee.

27 August 2026 – Roberta Kerschbaumer in "Coppia aperta, quasi spalancata"
When: 27 August 2026, at 11:30 am

Actress Roberta Kerschbaumer performs "Coppia aperta, quasi spalancata", the renowned play by Dario Fo and Franca Rame.

The 2026 edition of I Suoni delle Dolomiti comes to Pampeago with "Baba-Yaga", a musical event set against the spectacular backdrop of the Dolomites.
The venue can be reached by the Agnello Chairlift, followed by approximately 20 minutes on foot.
In case of bad weather, the concert will take place at 5:30 pm at PalaFiemme in Cavalese.
13 September 2026 – Latemar Mountain Race

Trail running and mountain running enthusiasts can experience the magic of the Dolomites once again with the Latemar Mountain Race, a race through the spectacular landscapes of the Latemar massif.
An event for running through the heart of the Dolomites and experiencing the mountains from a dynamic and exhilarating perspective.
26 September 2026 – I Suoni delle Dolomiti
Where: Pampeago, Buse de Tresca
The 2026 edition of I Suoni delle Dolomiti presents Alash Ensemble.
Info: the venue can be reached by the Latemar Cable Car, followed by approximately 1 hour on foot. In case of bad weather, the event will take place at 5:30 pm at PalaFiemme in Cavalese.
How to reach RespirArt Pampeago
The RespirArt Park is open year-round and admission is free. During summer 2026, it can be reached in several ways.
By cable car: from Pampeago, you can take the Latemar Cable Car, which allows you to comfortably reach higher altitudes and immerse yourself in the spectacular alpine landscape.
By chairlift: you can also take the Agnello Chairlift, which takes you up to the area near the park.
On foot: the park can also be reached by hiking along the trails that climb from Pampeago and from the lift parking areas. Alternatively, you can start from the Tresca Chairlift car park and follow Trail 514.
Before setting off, it is advisable to check the opening times of the lifts and current trail conditions.
