The cross‑country ski trails of Madonna di Campiglio, located in the beautiful area of Campo Carlo Magno, are among the most well‑equipped and scenic Nordic skiing destinations in Trentino. The modern Malghette Cross‑Country Center, built in Nordic architectural style and perfectly integrated into the alpine landscape, offers an ideal environment for enjoying cross‑country skiing surrounded by the nature of the Brenta Dolomites.
The Nordic skiing area is located directly at Passo di Campo Carlo Magno, easily accessible and equipped with parking, full services, a ski school, equipment rental, storage, changing rooms and showers. It is highly appreciated both by athletes and by those approaching this discipline for the first time in a safe and well‑organized setting.
The trails extend for a total of 22 km, divided into four loops suitable for every technical level and prepared for both classic and skating techniques. The main tracks are:
- Campo Scuola Mondifrà – 0.5 km, ideal for beginners
- Baby – 3.5 km, perfect for improving technique
- World Cup – 10.5 km, the most demanding and panoramic route
- additional complementary loops completing the full 22 km network
Beyond Madonna di Campiglio, Val Rendena offers further opportunities for Nordic skiing. Between Pinzolo and Carisolo lies the Frassanida Cross‑Country Center, FISI‑certified, featuring:
- a 5 km trail leading toward the entrance of Val Genova
- a 3 km illuminated loop for night skiing
- the connection to the 15 km trail running between Carisolo and Caderzone
This network of routes makes the valley an ideal destination for those seeking variety, excellent snow quality and services dedicated to cross‑country skiing.
