Intense music by the trio led by Filippo Gambetta, an authority on the diatonic accordion, who fittingly chose Maestrale, a wind of peril and rebirth, to define the project. The trio also includes two seasoned musicians from Liguria, Sergio Caputo and Fabio Vernizzi. The music is daring, blending original compositions with a passionate dedication to world traditions, rooted in their origins but unafraid to explore new and uncharted territories – Paesaggi Sonori – Maestrale.
An evening designed both for attentive listening and dancing, divided into two parts to satisfy the curiosity of listeners and the desire to dance of folk dance enthusiasts, who in recent years have become numerous in Trentino as well as across Europe. Gambetta’s extensive accordion repertoire spans local and European folk music to the sounds of Brazilian choro. Music to travel, to dream, to dance, and to connect, celebrating the beauty that we desperately need in every corner of the world. The perfect way to inaugurate the second edition of the Paesaggi Sonori festival.
