Experience an unforgettable sporting adventure set against the unique backdrop of the Dolomites by taking part in the Dolomites Saslong Half Marathon. This route offers athletes spectacular views, passing iconic locations such as the Sella, the Marmolada, the Alpe di Siusi, and the Sciliar.
The itinerary winds around the majestic Sassolungo, a loop that captivates with its unparalleled beauty and leaves an unforgettable mark in the heart of every runner.
The race starts from the charming Monte Pana, beginning with an ascent to the picturesque Emilio Comici Hut. From here, the course unfolds at high altitude, between 2,200 and 2,300 meters, reaching the famous Sasso Piatto Hut, where the descent back to Monte Pana begins.
The fairy-tale landscape and breathtaking panoramas will make you forget the effort of the run, accompanying you on a journey through nature, mountains, and fresh air.
Crossing the legendary City of Stones, made up of enormous rock blocks, leads to Passo Sella, a viewpoint offering a majestic view of the Marmolada glacier, the Queen of the Dolomites.
Continuing on, the view opens up over the stunning Val di Fassa, the Alpe di Siusi — the largest high plateau in Europe — and the mountain ranges of the Catinaccio and the Sciliar, the latter famous for its iconic peaks, Punta Santner and Punta Euringer, true symbols of South Tyrol.
