Luson’s small and tranquil mountain lake is the perfect place to cool off during the summer months. After a day of hiking, there’s nothing better than refreshing yourself in the clear waters of this bathing lake, complete with a water slide, sunbathing lawn, and a kiosk offering drinks and snacks. The natural lake of Luson is considered one of the most beautiful bathing lakes in the Alps – come and see for yourself!
Although the lake was created only a few years ago, it blends harmoniously into the surrounding landscape and lies right in the centre of the village, surrounded by trees and meadows. It’s a peaceful oasis for adults, who can relax on the sunbathing lawn, while children enjoy the water or the 41‑metre water slide.
Covering an area of 800 m², the lake features a regeneration zone for aquatic plants and a shallow pool for children. Fed by spring water and purified naturally without chlorine or artificial agents, it is also suitable for people with allergies or sensitive skin. Crystal‑clear water, a natural atmosphere, refreshing but not icy temperatures, floating water lilies and the mountains rising in the background make the Luson natural bathing lake truly worth a visit.
Depending on the weather, the lake is open from early June to late August, from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.
