On the Renon Plateau, just above Bolzano, Christmas is celebrated in a truly authentic and magical way. From 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, every weekend comes alive with the Renon Christmas Train Market – a unique Christmas market featuring charming little huts shaped like train carriages. Visitors can experience the festive atmosphere in four enchanting locations: the station square in Soprabolzano, the train station in Collalbo, Collalbo town centre, and the historic Plattner Farm in Costalovara.
What time is the Christmas market open?
Authentic and traditional, the Ritten Christmas Market awaits you with high quality arts and crafts, music and local specialities.
The stalls are located at the train station at Oberbozen and Klobenstein, in the village centre of Klobenstein and at the historic Plattnerhof iat Wolfsgruben.
The railway Ritten is the public transport connecting these small Christmas markets.
