A walk immersed in the unspoiled nature of the Valle di Vila, ideal for families, beginner hikers, and anyone seeking a moment of relaxation among the forests of South Tyrol.
Starting Point: The walk begins near parking area P1 (Valle di Vila), located in Vila di Sopra, easily accessible by public transport.
How to Get There: From the Brunico Mobility Center, there are two options:
- Train to Perca, then: Summerbus (active from early July to mid-September) to Vila di Sopra, stop P1 (Valle di Vila).
- Citybus no. 432 to Vila di Sopra, stop Poligono.
Both options bring you within a short walk of the trailhead.
Itinerary
- Follow trail marker no. 1, clearly signposted and surrounded by greenery.
- The path winds gently for about 2.5 km through the Valle di Vila.
- After approximately 1 hour of easy walking, you’ll reach Malga Lercher, nestled in a picturesque alpine landscape.
Malga Lercher: Once there, you can relax and enjoy traditional South Tyrolean dishes in a warm and authentic setting. The hut is known for its hospitality and fresh local products.
