A wonderful holiday on two wheels in Valsugana Lagorai

The Valsugana and Lagorai area is truly the ideal destination for cycling enthusiasts. The particularly pleasant climate, the Levico and Caldonazzo lakes set in the green and the uncontaminated Lagorai mountain range, rich in forests and alpine lakes, offer the perfect environment for a cycling holiday. 80 km of cycle path, 300 km of mountain bike trails with GPS tracking and many itineraries for road bikes allow you to put yourself to the test on tracks that reach up to 2,000 m above sea level, and then regenerate with a dip in the limpid waters of the European Blue Flag lakes.

The Valsugana cycle path

The Valsugana cycle path, which connects Lake Caldonazzo with Bassano del Grappa, offers 80 km of routes through particularly beautiful natural landscapes straddling the Veneto and Trentino regions, along a mainly flat route suitable for everyone. Along the route there are bicigrilles, rest areas dedicated to cyclists, while an organised bike sharing system allows cyclists to pick up their bikes (including electric bikes) at one location, then return them to another point along the route and return comfortably by train. The Valsugana cycle path runs along part of the Via del Brenta from the lands of the Habsburgs to the lands of the Doges, an itinerary rich in history, art and nature along the course of the river Brenta, which rises from the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo to flow into the Venice lagoon after 175 km.
