Lavaredo Ultra Trail

The world-famous Cortina d'Ampezzo, nestled in the heart of the UNESCO Dolomites, will host the Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB® from 23 to 27 June 2027. One of Europe's most iconic trail running events, the festival features five spectacular mountain races: 120 km, 80 km, 50 km, 20 km and 10 km, attracting elite trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts from around the world.

Lavaredo 120K

• Distance: 120 km
• Elevation gain: 5,800 m+
• Maximum time: 30 hours
• Start & Finish: Corso Italia, Cortina d'Ampezzo

The flagship race of the La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB® covers 120 km with 5,800 metres of elevation gain, making it one of the most challenging and scenic ultra trail races in the Dolomites. The spectacular 11:00 p.m. start creates a unique atmosphere, while runners reach the legendary Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks) at sunrise, offering unforgettable panoramic views.

Lavaredo 80K

26 June 2027 – 7:00 a.m.

• Distance: 80 km
• Elevation gain: 4,600 m+
• Maximum time: 22 hours
• Start: Val Marzon, Auronzo di Cadore
• Finish: Corso Italia, Cortina d'Ampezzo

The Lavaredo 80K is the event's only point-to-point race. Every year it starts from a different mountain village before finishing in the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo. This route offers a remarkable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Dolomites, combining technical trails with unforgettable alpine scenery.

Lavaredo 50K

• Maximum time: 12 hours
• Start & Finish: Corso Italia, Cortina d'Ampezzo

The Lavaredo 50K follows a beautiful loop around the mountains surrounding Cortina d'Ampezzo. Perfect for runners looking to experience a classic Dolomites trail race, the generous time limit allows participants to fully enjoy the spectacular landscapes.

Lavaredo 20K

24 June 2027

• Distance: 20 km
• Elevation gain: 1,000 m+
• Maximum time: 4 hours
• Start & Finish: Corso Italia, Cortina d'Ampezzo

Although shorter, the Lavaredo 20K is considered one of the most demanding races thanks to its steep climbs and technical descents. The 5:00 p.m. start lets runners experience the magical colours of the Dolomites at sunset.

Lavaredo 10K

23 June 2027

• Distance: 10 km
• Elevation gain: 300 m+
• Maximum time: 2 hours
• Start & Finish: Corso Italia, Cortina d'Ampezzo

The Lavaredo 10K is the perfect introduction to trail running in the Dolomites. Starting at sunset from the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo, runners enjoy a memorable experience on scenic mountain trails surrounded by the extraordinary beauty of the UNESCO Dolomites.

Registration is limited to 700 participants.
