The Delicious Festival Dolomiti in Cortina d'Ampezzo is one of the most original events in the Dolomites, an event that combines sport, culture, nature and wine and food in the extraordinary setting of the Ampezzo valley.
The event was created with the aim of enhancing the territory of Cortina d'Ampezzo, promoting the natural, historical and mountaineering heritage of the Dolomites together with the excellence of local cuisine. An experience that involves athletes, mountain enthusiasts, families and lovers of authentic flavors.
The heart of the event is the Delicious Trail Dolomiti, a trail running race through alpine paths, forests and spectacular views of the mountains that are symbols of Cortina, including the Tofane, the Cinque Torri and Lagazuoi. Alongside the main competition, various routes suitable for different levels of preparation are offered:
- Delicious Trail Dolomiti
- Medium Delicious Trail Dolomiti
- Short Trail Dolomiti
- Mini Delicious Trail, dedicated to young participants
During the festival, at Pocol, the PalaDelicious is set up, a meeting point dedicated to gastronomy and conviviality. Here the Chef Team Cortina offers specialties prepared by chefs from restaurants and mountain huts involved in the initiative, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the flavors of Dolomite cuisine.
