From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Velturno transforms into a lively autumn stage for the Chestnut Festival “Keschtnigl-Sunntig”. The village streets host the Törggelen market, where visitors can enjoy local food and wine specialties, traditional rural dishes, and fragrant roasted chestnuts.
The festive atmosphere is made even more engaging by live musical entertainment: the bright sounds of Karerbrass, the folk rhythms of Feldthurner Tanzlmusig, and the energy of Kühberg4 accompany the day, together with the spectacular performances of the Garner Schuahplattler, guardians of traditional Tyrolean dances.
