From October 17 to November 8, 2026 Velturno celebrates its autumn treasure: the chestnut. On the occasion of the Chestnut Weeks, the village comes alive with a rich program of events: guided tours, hikes along the Chestnut Trail, tastings, and themed evenings.
It’s a unique opportunity to discover the many facets of the chestnut, the star of rural cuisine and Törggelen traditions, with typical dishes, local wines, and genuine specialties.
