In Selva di Cadore, in September, the traditional Desmontegada takes place: the parade of livestock returning from mountain pastures and the pastures of the Val Fiorentina. During the event there will be musical entertainment, performances by Dolomite folk and mini-folk groups, a handicraft and local products market and a food stand with traditional dishes.
The star of the festival is the parade of cows, horses and goats, decorated for the occasion and accompanied by the mountain shepherds.
