The lake of Serraia has gained a certain fame for several reasons. The first one has to do with the regularity and the consistency of the ice which covers it in winter and which made it particularly suitable for the lover of ice-skating (even if in this last years they are "diverted" to the near Ice Stadium in Miola). The other reason it the teeming with fish. Its perimeter is marked by a comfortable path, which links it to the other lake of the plateau: the lake of Piazze.
Its surface is of over 450000 square metres and it has a maximum depth of 15,5 m. The lake of Serraia is one of the few lakes that can be really enjoyed in any season.
