A thematic trail immersed in nature, where contemporary art and landscape interact along an easy forest road. Il Respiro degli Alberi is a permanent itinerary that celebrates the tree as a symbol of life, transforming the woods into an open‑air museum. Installations created by Italian and international artists accompany visitors on a slow, contemplative walk among firs, beeches, larches and rhododendrons.
Along the route, the forest opens onto evocative viewpoints overlooking the Vigolana, the Val di Cembra, the Brenta Dolomites, the Valsugana and Lake Caldonazzo, offering privileged perspectives over the entire area.
Before starting the walk, it is worth stopping at the Arte all’Aperto area, conceived by Giampaolo Osele: a creative space where, since 2001, artists from different backgrounds have exhibited works that interact with the light and silence of the forest.
A simple and accessible route from Lanzino
The trail starts and ends in the hamlet of Lanzino, on the Alpe Cimbra, and follows a forest road with a regular gravel surface.
