An adventurous and fun hike that takes you to discover the world of marmots on the alpine pastures of Chienes. Along the way you can listen to the stories of Merlin, the “bear”, and his cheerful marmot family, for an experience that combines nature and imagination.
The route starts from Chienes/Corti and leads through the Moarhof Alm up to just before the upper Grünbachalm. The ascent first follows a forest road, then continues on a well-marked hiking trail towards the Green Lake.
The return follows the same route, with the option of taking some shortcuts along the way.
This is an ideal family adventure hike, which in winter turns into a fun outing with the chance to sled on certain sections.
