Cimbrian Imaginary Trail – Luserna

A gentle and engaging trail that leads you into the world of Cimbrian legends and characters, surrounded by the woods and pastures around Luserna. Along the circular route you encounter wooden sculptures and illustrated panels that narrate stories, traditions and symbols of Cimbrian culture, turning the walk into an educational experience suitable for both adults and children.

The path starts in the centre of Luserna and unfolds through spruce forests, clearings and panoramic viewpoints over the Val d’Astico, offering evocative glimpses of the village and the surrounding plateau. The pace is easy, with gentle ups and downs that make the route ideal for families with children aged 6 and up.

The excursion can be combined with a visit to the Haus von Prükk, a perfectly preserved traditional Cimbrian house, and to the Luserna Documentation Centre, which explores the history, language and traditions of the Cimbrian minority.
