Chestnut Trail in Velturno

Velturno and its surroundings are a perfect destination for hiking, especially in spring and autumn, when nature bursts with color and fragrance.

This charming village is the starting point of the famous Chestnut Trail (Keschtnweg), winding through gentle hills and ancient woodlands.

The route begins in Velturno and follows the Keschtnweg to Pardello and then to the Säbener Hof farm. From there, trail no. 3A leads to Hienghof, where you continue along the Wine Trail in the opposite direction until you reach the junction with trail no. 15, which takes you back to the village center.

A scenic walk through tradition, nature, and flavor.
