Via Vinum Venostis Naturno

The Via Vinum Venostis is a circular route of about 6.7 km starting from the center of Naturno, inviting visitors to discover the wine-growing landscape of Val Venosta. It is a path that combines nature, culture, and flavors, ideal for those who enjoy walking among vineyards and scenic views.

From the heart of the village, the trail follows Feldgasse, Kirchweg, and Kirchgraben, reaching St.-Zeno-Straße and Hauptstraße, which lead to the valley station of the Unterstell cable car in Kompatsch. From there, the route continues along the shooting range path to the beginning of the hiking trail and the Schwalbennest inn, perfect for a break.

The trail then descends gently towards Sonnenbergstraße, where it briefly climbs to the entrance of trail no. 6 below the Falkenstein vineyards. Here the path becomes steeper and leads to the Wallburgweg, which runs flat towards the east. A short but steep descent brings you to the Wiedenplatzerkeller, from where the route continues downhill along the paved road to the junction with the Sonnenberger Panoramaweg. Following this road westward, you reach St. Prokulusstraße. After crossing it, the trail continues along the Vogelnpromenade to the Schlossweg. The final stretch follows the Kirchbach, Kirchgraben, and Kirchweg, returning to Feldgasse and the starting point in the town center.
