Starting from San Vigilio di Marebbe, you reach Passo Furcia, where you can park your car near the Ruis cable car. Just above, close to the Pradeles restaurant, begins the trail leading to route no. 1, the first section of the hike.
Once on the trail, turn right and, after about a hundred metres, take the left fork. From here, follow trail marker 13, a pleasant and steady ascent that in roughly 45 minutes leads to the junction with trail no. 3. Turning left, the route continues towards the summit of Plan de Corones, crossing open slopes and approaching the characteristic Geiselsberger mountain hut.
Shortly after the hut, you reach a fork: here you take trail 1A, which leads to the famous Concordia Panorama Trail, a spectacular loop that circles the entire plateau and offers 360‑degree views of the Dolomites, passing near the MMM Corones, the museum designed by Zaha Hadid.
For the return, follow trail no. 4, which descends gently towards the valley. After about half an hour, you reconnect with trail 13, which brings you comfortably back to the parking area at Passo Furcia, completing a varied and rewarding circular hike.
