The loop trail, which is also suitable for families with small children, starts at the mountain station of the Piz de Plaies ski lift on Col d'Ancona and arrives at the Alpinus farm. The route offers a splendid view of Val Badia, Monte Pütia and San Martino.
How to get there and where to park
Col d'Ancona can be reached both in summer and winter from San Vigilio with the Piz de Plaies cable car. From San Martino/Piculin, the Piculin cable car is only open in winter. You can also reach the starting point on foot: from San Vigilio it takes 1h 15 minutes, from Piculin it takes 1h 45 minutes. You can park your car in both San Vigilio and Piculin.
