Cross-country walks: Campitello - Soreghes - Canazei - Campitello

This easy loop walk connects Campitello di Fassa and Canazei, following forest roads, meadows on the valley floor and pleasant stretches along the Avisio river. It is a flat route, ideal for families, children and strollers, perfect for discovering the Val di Fassa with a relaxing walk surrounded by greenery.

From the centre of Campitello towards the woods

From the heart of Campitello di Fassa, the route descends along via Pent de Sera, reaching the Col Rodella cable car. After crossing the bridge over the Avisio, the path enters a light woodland, which you skirt to the left before joining the Cercenà forest road.

Reaching Canazei along the forest road

The forest road leads gently towards Canazei, where a hairpin bend brings you onto Strèda Cercenà, which merges into the central Strèda Roma. Following the street uphill, you reach the village centre, with its shops, cafés and typical Val di Fassa atmosphere.

Return through Soronch and along the Avisio

From the centre of Canazei, the route descends again along Strèda Roma towards the Cinque Pini lake, then continues straight on the small paved road that borders the grassy plain of Soronch. Here the landscape opens up, with wide meadows and the sound of the Avisio accompanying the walk.

Following the riverbank along a pleasant and flat stretch, the loop closes by returning to Campitello along via Pecolin.
